Jacobs Creek Grenache Shiraz Wine Review Vintage 2004

A shout out to our neighboor Greg Byrd for turning us on to this tasty frugal
wine.
k this is not a true Shiraz. As the name says its a Grenache Shiraz.
69% Grenache 31% Shiraz. This a very likable easy drinking wine. Goes great with
pizza, cheese, anti pasta or by itself.
The sweet fruit driven taste should appeal to those that really don't care for red
wine. It was a hit with people who don't like the full bodied or dry reds. Would be nice pool side.
Very light on the tannin's and smokiness. Pour this one straight from the bottle
after about 30 minutes, no need to decant.
Not everyone wants their wine to
grab them by the throat!
Serve at room temperature or better, slightly chilled at 61 degrees.
I drank a bottle with no ill effects like the classic red wine
headache.
The wine is from Jacob's Creek www.jacobscreek.com 14% alcohol by volume.
A Frugal Wine Review steal at $8.99 750ml
Yellow Tail took at stab at this type of mixed varietal with their Shiraz/Grenache
but don't be fooled by the stylish bottle (like a human lure made to catch wine buyers).
This wine blogger summed it up nicely with just a picture
http://tinyurl.com/yellowtail-shiraz-grenache funny short & sweet a review as I
have ever seen lol.
Available at most retail markets.

And so another paganistic review lol. I will admit, like a true
unrefined heathen I did down the last bit by swigging from the bottle.
